Review for: 70 beans Sanpada, Navi Mumbai.

Located at some corner of sanpada this eatery is kinda niche compared to restaurants and bars surrounding it. But when we entered "Tujhe na dekhun chain" song was playing. Such a song for a classy looking restaurant, not too appealing.

We settled in the comfortable couch for 4 and placed our orders. Meal for 2 @ 597/-. We had a choice of choosing 2 items (1 veg +1 non veg) from 6 options in each category. The options weren't too much or too interesting.
What came for the price we paid was 4 pieces of chicken bites and 10 piece potato wedges. Straight out of a McCains ready to fry packet. Dint look like it was freshly made. Being a foodie we instantly recognised it. So I really dont want to score it.
Beverage was the Virgin Mint Mojito which truly was heavenly and a Peach Iced Tea which was really refreshing. 3 cheers to it !
Main course was the Four Cheese Sandwich in the veg section. The description said 4 different cheese combined with caramelised onion and glazed tomato, but wasn't so as described. It was Cottage Cheese and some normal Cheese with loads of capsicum and tomatoes. I called for the waiter and asked regarding the onions and he said it was finely chopped. Some story I seriously couldn't buy. So I gave back the other half and asked him to add the caramelised onion. Moreover why was there capsicum in my sandwich when it was not mentioned in the description. I somehow just ate it up without further complaints.
Over to the Non Veg Sandwich which was a part of the Non Veg selection seemed to be tasty and just like the way it was described in the menu. It had the caramelized onions and was grilled to perfection.
Something I really liked about the place was that the waiters didn't stand behind ur table to take orders as soon as u sat down. They waited to be called for. Gave us out own sweet time to go through the length and breadth of the menu card.
There were also a few board games and the pool table at one end which could be the reason we might visit the place again.
But overall I felt they were on the expensive side for what they were actually offering. One time visit and stick to the tall glass of cold coffees concoctions & a good game of pool combo..
Worth it !!!
